Schematic and BOM Extraction from an Industrial PCB
Extract a schematic and a bill of materials from the board that is actually in the machine.

Schematic and BOM extraction gives your maintenance team two documents they can work from: a circuit diagram and a parts list. We read reference designators, package markings, and the copper that ties them together.
The result is meant for repair planning and for a later redesign. Where a marking is ambiguous, the BOM says so instead of guessing a convenient part.
Where this service fits
- Technicians can replace a failed module only if they know the installed part.
- A redesign vendor asked for a schematic before estimating firmware or power changes.
- The BOM in the storeroom does not match the board revision on the line.
- A shutdown window is coming and the parts list must be ordered early.
What you receive
- Schematic sheets organized by power, control, and I/O
- BOM with designator, marking, package, and quantity
- A list of parts that need in-circuit measurement
- Cross-highlight notes between schematic and board photos
How the work proceeds
- Receive photos or the sample under the authorization checkbox.
- Index every designator and readable marking.
- Trace nets into schematic symbols.
- Issue the BOM and the open-item list together.
Questions on this service
Will the BOM include substitutes?
The extracted BOM lists what is fitted. Substitutes are a separate redesign task, not mixed into the extraction.
How are polarized parts handled?
Diodes, capacitors, and ICs keep the orientation we can see. Hidden pin-1 marks are called out as unverified.
Request a project review
Send the board context, layer count, and the maintenance goal. Quotes are prepared after that review.
